Intraoral radiography
It involves placing a small X-ray plate in the patient’s mouth and provides a precise image of the teeth as well as surrounding tissues such as the gums and bone.
This is the most common type of X-ray used in a dental practice and can detect various types of lesions such as cavities, cysts, and periodontal disease.
Dental panoramic
A panoramic dental X-ray provides an overview of a patient’s mouth. It allows the dentist to assess the general condition of the teeth as well as the periodontium, the supporting tissue surrounding the teeth.

CBCT
CBCT or cone-beam radiography is a type of X-ray that provides a three-dimensional view of the teeth and surrounding structures, such as bone and dental nerves.
It allows for greater precision in treatment, thus limiting surgical risks. It is primarily performed during surgery to assess bone quality, but also the passage of nerve structures such as nerves surrounding the surgical area.
It is recommended for implant placement, wisdom tooth extraction, and also for conservative treatments such as endodontic treatment, which can be complex.
In addition to being more precise, it differs from a conventional CT scan in that it provides a lower dose of X-rays to the patient.
Digital impression of your teeth

Our Madinina Smile Dental Center is equipped with the latest innovations in dental impressions, necessary for treatments such as aligners, prosthetic crowns and bridges, inlays/onlays, and removable dentures.
Many patients have memories of dental impressions that are not necessarily pleasant. Indeed, the “classic” impression made with various hardening pastes can cause stress and apprehension for some. This digital device stands out for its ease of use for both the patient and the dentist.
How does a digital dental impression work?
The dentist makes a gradual pass around the teeth and surrounding structures, then the recorded data is transcribed into a 3D computer format, giving an exact, precise and easy replica of the patient’s mouth. Although the digital impression can be carried out in many cases, it is not yet systematic and will be proposed by the practitioner according to the choice of treatment carried out.
